Privacy Policy

What we collect

Nothing. Vehicle Sounds does not ask for a name, an email address, a photo, a location or an age. There is no sign in, because there is no account. We cannot identify your child, and we cannot identify you.

What stays on the phone

The app remembers a few things so it works the way your child left it. All of it is stored on the device itself and never sent to us:

No analytics

There is no analytics of any kind in Vehicle Sounds, not ours and not anyone else's. We do not know which vehicle your child taps, how long the app is open, or whether it is opened at all.

No advertising

There are no ads in Vehicle Sounds. No banners, no video, no cross promotion for other apps, and no advertising identifiers. Nothing in the app is designed to move your child anywhere else.

Purchases

A grown-up can unlock the rest of the app. The payment itself is handled entirely by Apple or Google, and we never see your card details.

We use RevenueCat to check that a purchase is valid and still active. RevenueCat receives a random identifier that we generate on the device, the store receipt, and basic technical information such as the device model, the app version and the country of the store account. That identifier is not linked to a name or an email address, on our side or theirs, so it does not tell anyone who you are.

A parental gate stands in front of the purchase screen, so a child cannot reach it alone.

Children

Vehicle Sounds is made for children aged 2 to 4. We designed it so that the question of children's data does not arise: there is nothing to collect, nothing to share and nobody to share it with.

This is what the law calls compliance with COPPA in the United States and with the GDPR rules for children in Europe, and what Apple and Google call their Kids Category and Families policy. We meet those rules by not collecting anything in the first place, which is the only version of this promise that cannot quietly break.

Links out of the app

Every link that leaves Vehicle Sounds, including the links to this page, sits behind a parental gate. A child on their own stays inside the app.

Changes

If the app ever starts doing something this page does not describe, this page changes first. It is generated from the app's own configuration, so the two cannot drift apart.
