The app

Tree Identifier: Fairly identifies a tree from a photograph, and is published by Futuromy LTD ("Futuromy", "we"). By using it you agree to what is written here.

We give you a personal licence to use the app on your own devices. You may not resell it, take it apart, or use it as a way to feed another service.

What the answer is worth

The identification comes from a machine learning model. It is a best guess, and the number beside it is the model's own confidence, not a guarantee. It will sometimes be wrong, including when it sounds certain.

Do not rely on it where being wrong matters. In particular, never use it to decide whether something is safe to eat, to touch or to give to an animal, and never use it in place of an arborist, a doctor or a vet. That decision is yours, and we are not responsible for what follows from it.

Your photos

You keep every right you have in the photos you take. We do not store them, and we do not use them to train anything. Send only photos you are entitled to send.

Fair use

Identifications are limited per day so one person cannot run up a bill for everyone else. Do not script the app, do not work around the limit, and do not resell access to it.

What is free and what is paid

A number of identifications a day are free. Beyond that:

• •Yearly: 7 days free, then $19.99 a year, renewing until you cancel.
• •Monthly: $2.99 a month, renewing until you cancel.

Refunds

Apple and Google take the payment, so they handle refunds. We cannot issue one ourselves. Ask Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com, or Google through the Play Store. If something is broken, write to us first at info@futuromy.com.

What we promise and what we do not

We work to keep the service running. We cannot promise it will never have a bug or never be unavailable, models do go down, and we are not responsible for problems caused by your device, your operating system or your network.

Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
